Welcome to the **Macro Patterns Consortium (MPC)**. By accessing or using our website, sandbox environment, and curriculum resources, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Platform Purpose & Account Creation
MPC provides educational materials, modeling sandboxes, and automated evaluation tools for software architecture.
- Access to lesson content is open for guest readers, but saving work, accessing AI-powered grading tools, and earning certificates require account registration.
- You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and to keep your credentials secure.
2. Permitted Sandbox & API Usage
Users are provided a client-side environment with free integration to AI models for grading and hints up to set daily limits (3 requests per day).
- Reverse-engineering, scraping, or spamming the grading and evaluation endpoints is strictly prohibited.
- If you configure your own Gemini API Key (BYOK), you are responsible for any costs, usage quotas, and security of the key in your local browser environment.
3. Intellectual Property & Curriculum Materials
The technical curriculum text, images, diagram templates, and code files hosted on MPC are copyrighted assets.
- You may use the materials for personal, non-commercial educational purposes.
- Republishing, selling, or scraping curriculum articles (e.g. into public scrapers or databases) without express permission is prohibited.
4. Certification & Credential Verification
Certificates issued by MPC are digitally signed and backed by database records.
- Certificates are issued only to registered users who have completed the required modules.
- Any attempts to manipulate progress records, bypass evaluation checks, or falsify certificate signatures will result in immediate credential revocation and account termination.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The platform and its services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. MPC makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the educational materials, sandbox outputs, or AI-generated feedback.
6. Governing Law & Contact
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with standard internet usage guidelines and the laws of the platform hosting jurisdiction.
